kelly OTTESENKelly is a ceramist and folk artist specialising in hand-built sculpture and ceremonial ceramics.
A teacher, facilitator and storyteller with a passion for traditional crafts. She has been working with and teaching ceramics for twenty years, in and around the Portsmouth area. Kelly is currently working on a solo exhibition for 2024/5 that will comprise of her own sculptural ceramics, textiles, folk painting and metalwork. Kelly graduated in 2003 with a BA Hons in Three Dimensional Studies, specialising in ceramic design. She is also a qualified teacher, with 20 years professional practice and teaching experience, most recently in local schools and the adult education sector. Kelly’s workshops – 1:1 and large groups – are well planned, tailored to all abilities and mindful of diverse requirements. |
